Prospectr

The problem

Most small and mid-sized businesses in the Madison, WI area collect plenty of data - sales numbers, scheduling records, customer feedback - but rarely have the time or tooling to turn that data into decisions. Off-the-shelf analytics dashboards tend to be either too generic or too complex for a lean team to act on day to day.

The approach

Prospectr was built as an AI business analyzer that ingests a business’s existing operational data and produces plain-language recommendations instead of just charts. The goal was to make “what should I do next” the default output, not an exercise left to the business owner.

Key design decisions:

• Automation-first workflows - Prospectr connects directly to a business’s existing systems rather than requiring manual data entry.
• Plain-language output - recommendations are written for a business owner, not a data analyst.
• Iterative build - the tool started as an internal analysis engine and is being developed toward something local businesses can use directly.

Where it is now

Prospectr is in active development and is not yet in use by clients. It’s the clearest example of how ASM Solution combines web development and AI automation into a single product: a custom-built system, not a generic off-the-shelf tool, designed specifically for the way local businesses operate.
